This month a large filter package of 123 tons was securely transported with a so-called SPMT, or Self Propelled Modular Transporter, from the Dahlman  workshop to the local harbour in Maassluis. A floating sheer leg took the colossus from the trailer and shipped it to the Rotterdam seaport, from where it is sent to the end user.

Dahlman is one of very few worldwide companies able to design, engineer, fabricate and assemble skid mounted, automatic filtration equipment in-house. Our packages include next to the filtration units, structural steel, maintenance and process valves, piping, instrumentation and controls and all auxiliary equipment within the battery limits of the filter package. This advanced FCC slurry oil filtration package perfectly reflects our capabilities to deliver fully dressed filtration packages to the Refining and Petrochemical industry and clearly shows how Dahlman distinguishes herself from the competition.

The FCC slurry oil filter package will be taken into operation this year to remove catalyst particles from the main fractionators bottom product.
